Official Terms and Conditions

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF RECEIVING AN OFFER.

1. Sponsor. This promotion ("Promotion") is sponsored by Smithfield Packaged Meats Corp. ("Sponsor"), 200 Commerce St., Smithfield VA 23430.

2. Eligibility. The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members and household members are not eligible to participate.

3. Promotion Period. The Promotion begins on June 11, 2026 and ends on September 19, 2026 ("Promotion Period"), unless terminated earlier in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

4. How to Participate. During the Promotion Period, eligible participants may visit the designated Promotion website and submit the required information, including name, email address, telephone number, and mailing address. Limit one (1) submission per person and per household during the Promotion Period. Any attempt to submit multiple entries using different identities, email addresses, devices, or other methods may result in disqualification.

5. Trigger Event. For purposes of this Promotion, a "Trigger Event" means the use of the phrase:

"He put some meat on that ball" during an English-language television or radio broadcast of a major international soccer tournament played in North America during the Promotion Period that is lawfully available to viewers or listeners in the United States during the Promotion Period. Sponsor will monitor qualifying broadcasts during the Promotion Period. Sponsor's determination of whether the Trigger Event occurred shall be based solely on Sponsor's review of qualifying broadcasts and shall be final and binding in all respects.

6. Promotional Offer. If Sponsor determines that a Trigger Event has occurred during the Promotion Period, the first one thousand (1,000) eligible participants who successfully submit a valid entry after Sponsor announces that the Trigger Event has occurred will each receive one (1) coupon redeemable for a free qualifying Carando® product, subject to the coupon terms and conditions. If no Trigger Event occurs during the Promotion Period, eligible participants may instead receive a coupon for $2.50 off a qualifying Canado® product, while supplies last and subject to Sponsor's available promotional inventory. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a coupon of equal or greater value if necessary. The specific product(s), coupon value, redemption method, and expiration date shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.

7. Offer Limits. Limit one (1) promotional coupon per person and per household. Only the first one thousand (1,000) eligible participants meeting all requirements of these Terms and Conditions will be eligible to receive the free-product coupon following a Trigger Event. If more than one thousand (1,000) eligible entries are received, Sponsor's timestamp records shall determine the order in which entries were received.

8. Determinations by Sponsor. Sponsor shall have sole and final authority to determine:

whether the Trigger Event occurred;
whether the designated phrase was used;
whether a particular broadcast qualifies;
the date and time of occurrence of the Trigger Event;
participant eligibility; and
the order and validity of entries.

All decisions of Sponsor are final and binding.

9. Coupon Terms. Coupons are subject to all terms stated on the coupon itself, including any expiration date. Unless otherwise stated on the coupon:

Limit one coupon per purchase.
Limit one coupon per person and household.
Coupon has no cash value except where required by law.
Coupon may not be sold, auctioned, transferred, reproduced, altered, or assigned.
Void where prohibited, taxed, or restricted.
Consumer is responsible for any applicable sales tax.
Coupon may not be combined with any other manufacturer coupon for the same item.
Valid only in the United States.

10. Technical Issues. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, corrupted, misdirected, undelivered, or otherwise defective submissions; network failures; website interruptions; computer or mobile device malfunctions; internet service disruptions; or any other technical, mechanical, human, or electronic error that may affect participation in the Promotion.

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the Promotion if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion.

11. Release of Liability. By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, and assigns from any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to participation in the Promotion or the receipt, redemption, or use of any coupon or promotional offer.

12. Privacy. Information collected in connection with the Promotion will be used in accordance with Sponsor's Privacy Policy, available at https://www.smithfieldfoods.com/about-us/policies-disclosures/privacy-policy. By submitting an entry, participants acknowledge that their information may be used for administration of the Promotion. Any marketing communications will be subject to any applicable consent obtained at the point of collection.

13. Publicity. Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Promotion constitutes permission for Sponsor to use an entrant's name, city, state, likeness, and statements regarding the Promotion for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation or notice.

14. Disclaimers. This Promotion is not sponsored by, endorsed by, administered by, or affiliated with FIFA, the FIFA World Cup™, any soccer league, team, broadcaster, streaming service, or social media platform. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, or any other social media platform.

15. Disputes and Governing Law. Except where prohibited, participants agree that: (a) any disputes arising out of or relating to the Promotion shall be resolved individually and without resort to any form of class action; (b) any claims shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred in participating in the Promotion and shall not include attorneys' fees, punitive damages, consequential damages, or other indirect damages; and (c) the Promotion and these Official Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
