Gnocchi

1/2 pound
Broccolini
1/2 pound
1/4 cup
Fresh garlic, minced
1/4 cup
1/4 cup
Shallots, minced
1/4 cup
1/2 cup
White wine
1/2 cup
28 ounces
San Marzano tomatoes, crushed
28 ounces
1 tablespoon
Dried oregano
1 tablespoon
1/4 cup
Fresh basil, minced
1/4 cup
1 cup
Ricotta salata, shaved
1 cup

Directions


  1. Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions and reserve

  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and brown the sausage pieces until cooked

  3. Add the garlic and cook until just beginning to brown. Then add the Broccolini and shallots and sauté until the shallots are tender

  4. Deglaze the pan with white wine, and reduce to almost dry

  5. Add the tomatoes and oregano, reduce to a simmer, and cook until the Broccolini is tender

  6. Toss in the gnocchi and basil until the pasta is heated through

  7. Transfer to a serving bowl, top with the ricotta salata and serve hot
