1 Tablespoon

Parmesan cheese, grated
1/3 cup

Mozzarella, shredded
2 cups
1 12-ounce jar
Artichoke hearts
1 12-ounce jar
1/4 Cup
Capers, Drained
1/4 Cup
2 tablespoons
Fresh oregano, minced
2 tablespoons

Directions


  1. Preheat the oven to 400ºF

  2. Roast the sausages on a baking sheet, turning often, until cooked through

  3. Allow the sausages to cool and cut into ½-inch slices on the bias

  4. Combine the tomatoes, tomato paste, 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil, garlic, shallots, 1/2 cup basil, and dried oregano in the beaker of a blender and combine until smooth

  5. Press both dough balls into a 1/2 sheet pan, greased with some of the remaining extra virgin olive oil

  6. Spread about 1½ cups of pizza sauce over the crusts

  7. Sprinkle the parmesan cheese over the pizza

  8. Top with the mozzarella, then the artichokes, capers, sausage, and fresh oregano

  9. Bake until golden brown and bubbly, about 15-20 minutes, turning the pizza once during cooking

  10. When the pizza is done, remove from the oven and allow it to rest for 3-4 minutes

  11. Slice and serve
