Cut the sausage into ½-inch thick slices
Heat a large heavy-bottomed pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat and brown the sausage
Add the onion, garlic, and crushed red pepper, sautéing until the vegetables begin to get just browned
Deglaze the pan with the white wine. Add the tomatoes and oregano and bring to a boil
Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for about 15 to 20 minutes, then add the clams with their juice, and basil, and bring back to a simmer
While the sauce is simmering, cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and toss together with the sauce
Serve hot with grated parmesan cheese on the side
